Empowering Kenyan Youth Through Entrepreneurship

Please join the Delaware Kenya Association (www.delka.org) for the 7th Annual Dining for a Cause event, our organization's signature and finest event that brings you the best of Africa from food, entertainment, people, and fun, and all these while making a difference to Kenya's youth.

Your ticket gives you all the rights and privileges to:

  • Network with 400 guests from diverse backgrounds and industries
  • Enjoy some delicious Kenyan cuisine inspired by Kenyan chefs
  • Enjoy great music and dancing
  • Listen to an inspiring keynote address
  • Get a chance to win door prizes
  • Bid on amazing items and services in our auction
  • Above all, make a difference by inspiring hope to Kenyan youth.

All proceeds benefit the construction of a model youth entrepreneurship center in Kenya that will be used to empower the youth through entrepreneurship and innovation.

Why It Matters

  • 60% of Kenya's population is under the age of 35
  • Kenya's unemployment rate is approximately 40%
  • An estimated 64% (or 2.5 million) of unemployed Kenyans are the youth

Help us help them by developing entrepreneurship and small business development skills that will help them envision how to get out of poverty, help themselves and their villages, and in the process, ensure sustainable economic self-reliance.The evening will offer participants the chance to learn about this topic from a wide range of perspectives, revealing the unique knowledge and experience of different players.

After Party, FREE
Join us for drinks and dancing to African music at  Equator International Lounge after the event. A portion of all drink sales will benefit Delaware Kenya Association.
